As a senior, playing to a 10 handicap, I love the course for the level of difficulty and challenge. Fairways are tree lined and can play long at times. Trees block the wind and add extra challenge. Course is well maintained. Range is acceptable although I wish we could hit of grass on occaision. Practice greens and chipping area are better than normal. Greens are well maintained and very serviceable for the amount of pl$70 a month for unlimited play on weekdays walking.

This course has matured over the years since I first played it 17 years ago. Greens are good-sized and a good challenge. Bunkers are well-placed and maintained. About the only down side is the holes are pretty much straight up and back, up and back (with a couple of exceptions). Visually pleasing with water hazards fairly easy to avoid. The pace can get slow...they used to have marshals out on the course quite a bit more in years past so play can bog down, as it did on this Saturday for us. Good value!

I've always liked Manteca even if it's a little tight. The problem is it's easy to get hit from some other fairway on a couple of holes, but the layout is a good challenge. The last 4 holes, which remain from the old 9, are a good finish. The greens roll good even if a little soft and the tee boxes are level. Watch the rough and trees, both will eat strokes.

My wife and I have played there twice now and have had a great experience both times ! It is the best public course in the area and is priced far better than lesser courses nearby.

Very well maintained course for a muni. Inexpensive but represents good value. Good course for mid to high handicappers.

Have lived in this area for 10 years. Have played other courses in area and state. Not many are as well kept and have as good greens as this course

The fairways are a little too close for a side to side lay-out.

Course difficulty with narrow fairways may keep you in trees. Playing safe once in trees recommended. Greens a bit soft due to over watering but playable. Nearly straight putting. Four consecutive drives with OB on left side of back nine.

Not a difficult layout if you stay out of the trees (there are a lot). Real good condition for a busy muni. Pace of play can sometimes seem snail-like. Can't beat the price, $21 with a cart. Par 5 9th fun hole, water left, bunker right at the green but can reach in 2 with good drive.

Manteca Park is one of my clubs favorite. We play at least 3 times a year and usually 4. The club plays out of Milpitas we have be a little unlucky for our home courses. Warms Springs is where we started and Sunol was our latest. We are a travel club and all members absolutely love Manteca Park.
